Disc One:

Join the team as they apply the latest technology to the famous 1967 film that solidified Bigfoot's place in our imagination. And venture to the creature's habitat as the team strives to lure Bigfoot within range of their cameras.
Disc Two:
Bigfoot: this programme probes the legend of a giant, ape-like creature which many people claim they've seen in the Pacific Northwest. Conducting close examinations of the footprints, hair and other evidence that's been collected and examining the controversial 1967 Patterson film that some believe proves the beast exists, may offer answers to some long-standing questions.Mutant Canines: When the locals' pets are being killed by an unknown, possibly mutant, killer, it's too big a job for Animal Control. Better call MonsterQuest! Reports from Maine and Minnesota suggest that a new breed of creature is tearing up the pet population. One of the beasts was struck and killed by a car, so MonsterQuest has a corpse to DNA test, but many more answers are hidden in the frozen woods. Join the team as it ventures into the wilds to trap the elusive killer.
Lions in the Backyard: A mountain lion attack is an event sensational enough to make national headlines. But a new and more ominous breed of creature seems to be stalking the suburbs: huge, black wildcats. Sightings from Texas to Minnesota suggest that this unknown predator is becoming more common and it's only a matter of time before a human falls prey to one. In this gripping episode, the MonsterQuest investigators join law enforcement officials to get to the bottom of this feline menace. Photo evidence and official reports get a thorough going-over and a carcass eyewitnesses claim to be of a black killer cat is DNA tested.
Disc Three:
Gigantic Killer Fish: This could be just another day at your local fishing hole. Hook, line, sinker... underwater cameras and hi-tech lures. Join the MonsterQuest squad on a far-flung fishing expedition to track, record and possibly catch terrifyingly large and aggressive freshwater fish. Our intrepid anglers journey from the Arctic to the Amazon in pursuit of phenomenal creatures, from catfish large enough to swallow children whole to trout as large as a boat.
Swamp Beast: In pursuit of a legendarily malodorous creature, the MonsterQuest team lets bloodhounds do the smelling for them. The endless swamps of Florida and Louisiana hide a million secrets, and the most spectacular of them all could be a stinking, seven-foot-tall beast known as the Swamp Creature. Locals fear the shaggy, putrid beast they've nicknamed the Skunk Ape but also feel a proud affection for the critter. Russia Killer Apemen: Josef Stalin had a dream: an invincible human being, insensitive to pain and tolerant of bad Russian food. He also had access to what can only be described as a mad scientist, Ilia Ivanov. Together they pursued a campaign of cross-breeding and hybridization that shocked the world when it was uncovered.
Disc Four:
Unidentified Flying Creatures: Elusive creatures dart at the very edge of perception. They seem to be everywhere but have never been caught... until now!
The Real Hobbit: For centuries, rumors have come out of the nearly impenetrable jungles of Indonesia's Sumatra of a curious little creature known to the locals as "Man of the Woods," Orang Pendak. Dutch colonists and modern travelers and scientists have also reported sightings of this small, hairy human-shaped beast. And the 2004 discovery of skeletal remains of a tiny extinct hominid on the neighboring island of Flores reinvigorated interest in the "Real Hobbits" of Indonesia. But there has never been reliable evidence of Orang Pendak. Until now.American Warewolf: Everyone knows werewolves are legendary creatures based on myth. They're not real animals, right? Right? Well, recent multiple sightings in Wisconsin and Michigan suggest that some form of wolf-man could be stalking the night. Local eyewitnesses report seeing a tall, hairy man-beast and MonsterQuest aims to find the creature. |
