Chloë Moretz, Blake Lively and Eddie Redmayne star in this comedy drama adapted by Andrea Portes from her semi-biographical novel.
13-year-old Luli McMullen (Moretz) runs away from her Nebraska home, leaving behind her destructive, alcoholic parents and taking with her a revolver she received as a birthday present. On the way she hitches rides with rebel cowboy Eddie (Redmayne) and con artist Glenda (Lively). Before long Luli's journey takes a sinister turn but it doesn't deter her hopes of finding a better life. |
